I have taken 2 classes with Dana. She is witty, so entertaining and engaging. I approached this game with great trepidation. She patiently and methodically taught our group how to play. It was so well done. The 9 hours flew by. She uses technology tools, gives websites to practice, handouts, and her own Decision tree , which guides the player through the game. She is so personable that you feel as if you are old friends.

I couldn't believe there was an American Mahjongg teacher of Danas experience "right here in NC". I too was hooked from the first time I sat at the table with friends in New Albany OH 20 years ago.my best friend Linda and I begged our Jewish friends on the tennis team to let us into the game. I'm a teacher too now but I always give credit where credit is due. Dana is "my" teacher and I just can't wait to tell the group "back home" about passing a "paralyzing pair" in the Charleston after attending the Beyond Beginner class. We are often on the same page. Dana Lange I'm so glad I found you.

I have taken so many classes from Dana, and since the first one, I have always looked forward to her next one. Dana teaches more than the rules. She teaches the most important thing —strategy, which is something you cannot get from instructors who “think” they are MJ teachers. It goes without saying she “knows her stuff.” An added bonus, is Dana’s wit. When you are playing, you will hear her voice in your ear, saying “never, do you ever….”
